Canon 100mm f/2.8 Lens for FD Lens (USED)

The Ultimate Compact Portrait and Telephoto Prime Lens

The Canon FD 100mm f/2.8 is a legendary short-telephoto manual-focus lens, revered by film photographers and modern cinematographers alike for its perfect balance of focal length, speed, and compact design. Offering a flattering perspective that subtly compresses facial features, this lens is an exceptional choice for portraiture, street photography, and candid documentary work. Its bright f/2.8 maximum aperture delivers excellent low-light performance and a shallow depth of field, allowing both vintage SLR purists and mirrorless creators adapting vintage glass to effortlessly isolate subjects against a beautifully rendered background.

Outstanding Optical Performance with Classic Analog Heritage

Engineered during the golden age of Canon's optical craftsmanship, this prime lens utilizes an advanced optical configuration that delivers exceptional center-to-corner sharpness and contrast, even when shooting wide open. Treated with Canon’s sophisticated lens coating technology, it effectively mitigates internal reflections, ghosting, and flare to ensure rich, accurate color reproduction and impressive tonal depth. Built with a robust all-metal barrel and an elegantly dampened manual focus ring with a generous throw, it provides a tactile, precise handling experience that modern, plastic-heavy lenses simply cannot match.
