A unique wide-angle prime marrying versatility and distinctness, the black Sony E-mount Lensbaby Velvet 28mm f/2.5 is a lens with a look reminiscent of classic portrait optics, but with the broad field of view to suit outdoor, landscape, and even close-up subjects. Characterized by a smooth, glowing aesthetic, this lens's softness can be controlled by stopping down in order to produce a range of effects from soft and dreamy to sharper at smaller apertures. A 12-blade diaphragm also contributes to the lens's aesthetic and helps to produce a smooth bokeh quality to suit shallow depth of field imagery. Additionally, the manual focus design affords a working distance of 2" with a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2 to benefit working with close-up subjects.
Wide-angle prime is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, however can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 42mm equivalent focal length.
The f/2.5 maximum aperture strikes a balance between brightness and depth of field control and maintaining an overall sleek profile.
A working distance of 2" along with a 1:2 reproduction ratio suits working with close-up subjects.

Warranty & Return Policy
A refund or exchange within a period of 7 DAYS for new equipment. However, a re-stocking fee of 15% is charged for ALL RETURNED merchandise. All used equipment are final sale unless the product is defective. The period of time for return of used items with defective issues is 10 days. Returned or exchanged products must be in brand-new, condition, and have all original manufacturers packaging, No returns for batteries, chargers and memory cards once opened, no exceptions. Merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. The original manufacturer's labeled packaging should be enclosed within an outer shipping box. Please do not write or place shipping labels or stickers on the manufacturer's packaging. EXCEPTIONS: Underwater equipment cannot be returned once taken under water. Printers (once ink cartridge installed), books (once purchased), software, and educational tapes cannot be returned once opened; if defective it will be at our discretion whether it will be repaired or exchanged for the same or manufacturer's equivalent model only. To return an item you must contact Customer Service (via email, phone or fax) for prior approval and obtain an RMA number.
