Nikon AF Nikkor 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 Lens (USED)

Versatile Standard Zoom Performance for 35mm Film and Digital Photography

The Nikon AF Nikkor 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 Lens is a compact, highly practical standard zoom designed to cover the most essential focal lengths for everyday photography. Spanning from a wide-angle 28mm—ideal for landscapes, architecture, and interior spaces—to a natural 70mm perspective suited for portraits and candid snapshots, this lens serves as a versatile go-to solution. Engineered for photographers who demand both mobility and optical clarity, it provides a lightweight walkaround option without compromising image fidelity.

Advanced Optical Engineering with Aspherical Precision

Despite its portable footprint, this lens incorporates sophisticated optical elements, including hybrid aspherical lens glass, to effectively minimize spherical aberrations and distortion across the entire zoom range. Advanced multi-layer Super Integrated Coating (SIC) reduces flare and ghosting, yielding crisp, high-contrast imagery with rich color saturation even under challenging lighting. The variable f/3.5-4.5 aperture ensures an optimal balance between low-light capability and a lightweight profile.

Reliable Autofocus and Tactile Control

Featuring Nikon’s proven AF motor drive linkage, this lens delivers swift, accurate autofocus performance when paired with compatible Nikon SLR and DSLR camera bodies equipped with an internal AF drive motor. A smooth manual focus ring and an integrated mechanical aperture ring provide direct, tactile control, making it a flexible choice for classic 35mm film SLRs, modern digital full-frame bodies, and retro-inspired mirrorless setups adapted for vintage glass.
