Peak Design Everyday Backpack V2 - 20L / Black

I couldn't be happier with the 20L everyday backpack. It's the perfect size for my everyday needs it's sleek and classy enough to be business casual for meetings but rugged enough for adventuring around the city. I love the flexibility to have the main compartment to adjust to fit my needs with dividers while also having the option to be completely open for larger items. I'm am able to easily fit my 15" MacBook Pro and camera gear. Even fully loaded the backpack feels very comfortable when worn for long periods of time. A great investment!

Everyday 20L is my first PD company bag. It really looks like his name. I put my camera in the bag and take it out every day.

Pack your gear differently. Reach from the side or from the top for smaller items. Easy to clean . Room enough for bottle of water on the sides. I will put my name in it since there are some that have the same backpack! Proves popularity. Sturdy design that also is a perfect fit for my silver flute :) when not photographing. I like the top pocket for phone and or wallet. Easy access . All zipps are " lockable" by a simple pull and push loop system. The side flaps contain multi extra soft to the touch mini pockets accessable via inside and nicely and safely tucked away. So far, this is the safest backpack I have seen to protect my expensive camera and lenses. The extra flexible pads come individually and are very firmly holding on to the sides. That takes a bit of getting used to.The design doesnt allow for wide top opening . Camera and lenses best accessable via sides.The shoulder pads are firm and I do use the clips with strap now at the front that helps to walk up straight instead of hunched over. I like the looks and feel of the backpack. Matches any style I am wearing. Oh and though firm it is not too heavy! All in all a great choice that will ladt me for ages since it is very well made. I am proud to own it.

This is my fourth product of PD. Thank to PD I could use this back pack not only office but also outing for take picture. First of this bag pack material is so satisfying, it works like structure to fix bag shape and protect gear and also has soft skin making comfortable. Design is so useful for diverse gear carrying with efficient and flexible. Just one making me handling is there is too many strip, even somebody use those one usefully.

V2 fixed SOME of my gripes. Here are the diffs: The interior color is light gray. I have a black bag and didn’t like the Black and Tan combo. I know that’s petty. 8-) The flap pockets - having one large zipper was a PITA. I’m a huge fan of the two smaller zip pockets in the flaps. However, the top pocket’s magnet is so weak, it doesn’t stay shut EVER. I wedge a small pouch into both. Key tether - They made this a cord, not a strap (flat). That’s better. The bottom of the side handles are now “inside” the side pouches. So if you attach it to those handles or the loop in the pouch, it tucks inside. Good, not great. The v2 laptop compartment is far more spacious. The v1 was crazy tight, so “far more spacious” is true, but it’s still tight with a laptop and ipad (in a case) in there. Beef #1 - They STILL did not put a clip in either side compartment. So keys and card cases just flop around. The smaller zipper compartment helps (see above). However, 3-4 anchor points INSIDE the bag for your own clips would be great. Beef #2 - The pre-set pocket sizes are a bit silly. Given the slack in the pocket elastics, you’d be CRAZY anything valuable in them. None of these little pockets “grab” enough to use in any meaningful way unless you wedge large things in them. Beef #3 - There is no slot or attachment point for your name/ biz card/ ID. I ended up attaching my airline FF card to the zipper pull on the flap’s internal zipper. V2 is better, but there are silly misses.

Bought this bag as a gift to myself. I've been eyeing this for a while now and when the V1 went on sale, I pulled the trigger. I really like the V1 gray bag with the red stitching. The creaftmanship and how things are layed out is well thought of and fully customizable to your liking. I have 2 cameras, a drone, tablet, and their accessories in their respectable hideaways, and still have plenty of room for more stuff! This is my first bag so I can't compare it to others out there, but it sure did hit all the high notes for the exact bag I was looking for. All smiles on this end!

Ever since I got it, I am in absolute love with my bag. I tell everyone who wants to listen about Peak Design and about how durable, versatile and convenient this bag is. I dislike carrying many bags and with my Everyday Backpack I'm able to pack my laptop, my books for university, my food for the entire day, and my clothes to work out. I really believe in using your money as your vote and this is why I make a point of supporting companies like this one: for which ethical production is at the core of its business model. The customer service is also amazing. I had a problem with my zipper. I sent them an email with a picture and within two days I received a new bag and could simply send back the bag with the damaged zip. They also sell secondhand bags on Ebay as a way to promote sustainability. I truly love Peak Design and feel hopeful in the future when I see that companies like this one still exist and stand firm against the dominant narrative of overconsumption and complete indifference towards environmental destruction.

I am loving this bag not only is it comfortable compact and functional. But it has the unique feature of being the sexiest bag anybody has carried in my company ever. I get so many compliments... I feel like a celebrity when I wear this.

This bag isn’t as powerful as the One Ring, but it’s close. I spent years (and lots of money) looking for the perfect camera bag. I finally found it with the Everyday Bag. I rarely only bring my camera equipment with me when I go out. I work remotely and love to read / write, so I always have my computer, book, and journal with me as well. This bag has room for all of that, and more. I’ve also used it hiking, for which it’s fairly well served. All is the little pockets are perfect for storing camera accessories as well as everyday things like pens, business cards, etc. If you’ve struggled with finding a suitable bag for your gear, you can’t go wrong with this bag.
