The tripod is protected against water, dirt and dust. It has a newly designed lock mechanism for comfortable operation. The tripod tubes are made of carbon (weight reduction, stability gain, low vibration).

Another special feature of this tripod is the triangular central column. The triangular design prevents twisting and reduces vibrations. Of course, the column can be mounted inverted for ground level shots.

The legs can be adjusted in three click stops. Each leg consists of 5 sections with 4 sealed ring locks. The rubber feet and the removable metal spikes allow the tripod to stand securely on any surface.

A stabilizing hook on the center column is as much part of the SIRUI standard as the carrying bag.

VA-5 Head
With a maximum load capacity of up to 3kg it is the ideal fluid video head for use with DSLR, system cameras and small camcorders.
Due to the sophisticated fluid system, it allows for a soft, quiet and vibration-free movement whilst filming.

The friction of the tilt movement can be adjusted continuously. The rotary motion is fixed. The head works extremely smoothly and allows for very precise adjustments to be made and is intuitive to use. The Safety Lock system prevents accidental removal of the release plate. In contrast to the VH series the VA Series is equipped with Arca type compatible removable plates.

For a precise alignment 2 bubble levels are fitted.
