Overview

Tamron SP 150-600mm 5-6.3 Di VC G2  Nikon MT

The Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 for Nikon with upgraded optical performance enables handheld shooting with remarkable definition. This new lens builds upon the success of the current SP 150-600mm (Model A011) which Tamron first introduced in December, 2013, including better overall optical performance and faster AF speed, VC enhancements, plus Fluorine Coating, FLEX ZOOM LOCK and tele converter.

Rebuilt from the ground up to meet Tamron's strict quality standards and design specifications, this new zoom combines smart engineering and high performance with quality craftsmanship, durability and user friendliness.

FEATURES:

Optical design enhanced to achieve even higher performance

Tamron's sophisticated eBAND Coating eliminates ghosting and flare

MOD reduced to 7' (1:3.9 max. mag. Ratio) to provide optimum tele-macro photography
AF speed is faster and much more responsive with moving subjects

VC performance is 4.5 stops (VC mode 3) and offers three modes optimized for different shooting situations

FLEX ZOOM LOCK mechanism enables the locking of the zoom ring at any position

Fluorine Coating and improved Moisture-Resistant Construction

Lightweight and easy-to-hold tripod mount is compatible with an Arca-Swiss style quick release plate

Compatible with TAMRON TAP-in Console, an optional accessory product

D
Loved this lens.
For the price you can’t beat this lens. It has been very good to me. I wish is was a little sharper around the edges but really cannot complain.
R
Great lens to have that I never bought before now.
Easy to handle, fast, features in lens are ideal. I am happy so far with this lens.
B
Perfect
Any subject far away is reachable with this quality lens. A perfect match for my NIKON D500 camera.
A
I paid for brand new, no for open box...
About the lens is good, better than I specter. But best buy sent me a open box lens completely differe for what I paid -brand new sealed box-. I don't want to keep this lens with me because is obviously open box ...
B
Great lens for sports
Use my 150-600 lens for shooting sports photography when unable to get close to players.
J
I think it was what i needed to capture bird pics
Lens by Nikon in this type would be way beyond my ability to purchase
because of the price. I just take pictures for myself and family, I am not
a pro. I think some pros get this lens because it works so well.
B
Sharp images, but heavy
Crisp image quality and durable construction. A bit heavy so make sure you have a tripod.
F
Great Lens
I just love this Lens, it is my favorite go to Lens for wildlife photography.
C
Great lens!
Great lens! Super sharp even hand held! It is a very heavy lens so you may want to take that into consideration. Overall I give it a two thumbs up!
