With the Vanguard Binocular Harness in place, you can keep your binoculars at chest level when they are not in use for quick and easy "grab & look" observing. Adjustable elastic straps are kept in line by virtue of a leather back piece. The straps criss-cross through the leather piece at the back, and help distribute the weight of the binoculars across your back and shoulders. Your binoculars attach to the Vanguard Harness in much the same way a regular binocular neck strap would, except you will not suffer from neck strain the way you would with a regular strap!
