Overview

Cotton Carrier Hand Strap

The Cotton Carrier Hand Strap allows you to comfortably carry a DSLR in your hand and also connect it to a tripod via the included Arca-Swiss style quick-release plate. This quick-release plate attaches to the base of your DSLR via its 1/4"-20 threaded hole and can be easily clamped directly to a tripod. You can choose to attach another optional quick-release plate to the hand strap as well.

The Hand Strap features a touch-fastener strap which lets you quickly tighten or loosen your hand against the camera's body. For protection from scratches, a detachable rubber gasket on the hand strap lies between the quick-release plate and your camera. The Hand Strap is compatible with most DSLRs and tripods.

Great for single handed use
This was my second one I bought and its had some nice improvements since the first one. Can use most and tripod mounting plate with supplied hardware. Living in Thailand. I hesitated since shipping is a bit high( cheap airmail would have been fine with me) I tried a cheap Chinese version and have to say at least the mounting system was nice but the straps were not easy to adjust and slipped a lot, then found one at a local camera shop from "B Grip" hated it was about 35.00us and had to make my own mounting plate screws even though the pics and ads shoed it came with them and they do make similar products .But its made of rubber and plastic and uses plastic screws and had to modify it to make it work for me So I ordered the Cotton CCS Hand strap works perfect with or without the battery pack does not block access to battery compartment as the other two did but with the battery pack it is no problem any way. I have recommended this to all my friends from the first one and now still recommend this and all cotton products I really like the easy of adjustability on this. My next camera will get one as well.

Love this product
I just purchased a new Canon M-50 mirrorless camera.It's much smaller and lighter than my EOS T6i even with it's smaller 200 mm telephoto lens in place.The CCS handstrap fits so that the camera feels perfect just carried in the grip of your hand...No need for the neck strap on the camera. Just grip your camera and you are ready to shoot at any time.

I attached this to my 2nd set-up which would be a Canon 80D mated with either the EF 50 f1.2L or EF-S 18-135mm.

My main set-up will be the Nikon Z6 which will likely be fixed to my favourite Blackrapid strap.

My intention is to be able to handhold and grip my 2nd set-up confidently for short periods of time when required.

So far I have been quite happy with how easily adjustable the strap is. A little wary of the metal ring - not sure whether it will cause paint to fall off.

Nonetheless I am glad I bought this together with the harness. Will consider buying one more of these!

Great strap for handy cameras
The strap works great on our Sony RX10 Mark 4 and helps in retrieving it from the slingbelt each time when taking a shot.
