Overview

An ideal lens for portraiture, the GF 110mm f/2 R LM WR from FUJIFILM is a short telephoto, 87mm-equivalent prime for the G-mount GFX camera system. Its bright f/2 maximum aperture affords extensive control over depth of field for working with selective focus techniques, and also benefits working in low-light conditions. A rounded nine-blade diaphragm also contributes to pleasing bokeh quality to suit shallow depth of field imagery. The sophisticated optical design employs four extra-low dispersion elements to reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations for a high degree of clarity and contrast. Additionally, benefitting handling the lens is a linear autofocus motor that is both quick and quiet, and an internal focusing mechanism limits the overall lens length during use as well as maintains consistent image quality throughout the focusing range. The lens is also dust-, freeze-, and weather-resistant and features a manual aperture ring for intuitive exposure adjustment as well as a Command position for camera-based control over the aperture.

Physical aperture ring allows for intuitive adjustment over exposure settings, and incorporates a C (Command) position to permit camera-based aperture setting.
Dust- and weather-sealed physical construction enables working in harsh climates and temperatures as low as 14°F.
Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.

Brilliant lens !!
I used many lenses in the past; Leica, Zeiss, Canon, Nikon.. This is the best lens I've used. This lens is like a Zeiss Otus lens. Its optical quality is just amazing. Don't think, just buy. You won't regret it.

Totally Satisfied
This lens was one of the reasons I purchased a GFX 50S. I've tried some of the other G-mont lenses and they've all be outstanding but this one has the shallow depth of field I was looking for. The lens is extremely sharp wide open with beautiful bokeh as expected. Build is first rate. It's quite large but fits the camera nicely and is not in any way problematic. The body and and lens combination balances just about 2 inches in front of the tripod mount. I expected it to be more nose heavy but it balances very well on a tripod head. Very happy with the lens and will look forward to acquiring some of the other lenses available for the GFX.

Beautiful Beast!
Incredible rendering especially wide-open and very sharp! I've only just begun to play with this lens, but it is exceptional for portraits and landscapes. Delicious and creamy out-of-focus areas and beautiful color rendition. Perfect mate for the GFX.

Incredible
This is probably my favorite lens I've ever owned. An almost-perfect portrait lens, and on the GFX100S, just magical results. Have used it on relaxed portrait shoots and on fast-paced big-budget advertising jobs, and images made on this lens are always heroes. I won't even say the autofocus is slow... it isn't. Maybe not the lightening speed of some DSLR lenses, but far more responsive and accurate than my 85 was on my Canon gear.

Amazing lens
This lens is a dream. Super sharp, a dreamy fall off, a wide f2 aperture, and decently fast auto focus. My only gripe with this lens is its weight, but I think thats the tradeoff considering it’s a medium format f2 telephoto lens. This is my favorite portrait lens.

Stunning Image Quality
This lens is one of the reasons I purchased a GFX 50S originally and now use it on a GFX 50R. I can't say I have ever shot with a sharper lens or one with better bokeh. It is large and somewhat heavy but for the work I do that is not really an issue. The build quality is outstanding with all metal construction and engraved markings. Top notch. With this focal length and the large sensor you can achieve subject separation even at moderate distances. In terms of its field of view, similar to an 85mm lens in the full frame world, it is highly versatile. I've shot with the the Nikkor 105mm f/1.4 and Sony 135mm f/1.8 GM lenses and both of them are truly outstanding but for the work I do they tend to be too long in many cases.

Focus is reasonably fast and quiet. There is some noise but not much. Far quieter and more refined than the excellent GF 63mm f/2.8 which I also own. As far as I am concerned this is the best lens I have ever owned in this field of view range.

Superb lens
Very sharp, beautiful color rendering for portrait. A large lens to carry around, but worth it for portraits. You can feel the floating elements moving, which is ok.
