- Great Features and Excellent FocusI bought this about 4 weeks ago and have been experimenting with it. However I am yet to try out the video capabilities of it. Very satisfied with the excellent focusing, picture quality and many setting options that are available. An inbuilt optical stabilization would have certainly made this camera a real 5-Star champion in my view. Sony could have given this as part of the package. However it's not a deal breaker at all unless shooting handheld at low shutter speeds. The initial menu setup is a little overwhelming with too many settings and some naming conventions do not really help in understanding what that setting is meant to be. However thankfully many videos are available on youtube to guide with some of it. One thing Sony can do for it's loyal customers is to reduce the price of lenses. Especially loyal ones like me now. I have become a fan. :) Overall am extremely happy with it and cant complain given the price, size and feature rich capabilities of this awesome innovation from Sony. Well done Sony!!!!
- Good features, great photos, poor videosThe picture quality is good but the videos are always shaking or trembling.
- Not as Sharp as A6000I may have gotten a dud, but my camera is not as sharp as my old a6000. Unfortunately I discovered this too late as I started using it in place of the a6000. After a year I had need to use both at the same time and discovered the sharpness issue. It might be due to a glossy section in the mount where it looks like it was not coated with the same stuff that the rest of it was. Maybe light is reflecting weirdly giving it a softer look. If your coming from the a6000 be sure to compare the new model to it. Otherwise, the features on the a6500 are superior.
- Great improvement and many featuresI bought this a month and already use it a couple times. Quite good but just lack if IBIS. Wish it has IBIS.
