- All-round good, but a couple of short-comingsThis camera packs in a lot of great features for a very low price. The image quality is good and I like features like the easy-to-access (and customizable) Fn menu. There are two things that I find disappointing: - First, I don't like the noise in higher ISO. I even find 800 ISO far too noisy. I try to limit all my shots at either 100 or 200 ISO. After reading that this camera did well in low light and at higher ISO - I was especially disappointed with the poor-quality image at higher ISO. - Secondly - IMO, the camera needs another button for customization or an additional wheel. Having multi-uses on each of the very few buttons and wheels is not convenient. (I'd almost bought a Fuji because of dials & wheels.) Anyway, overall, I'm happy with the camera for now. Wish list: - Better form factor. I like the grip on the a6400, but would like more external dials and buttons for ease of use. - Less noise at higher ISO. -

- Easy to use and great for daily all purpose use.I bought this camera to shoot youtube videos and connect it to my computer as a webcam to use during remote working meetings. It provides an amazing quality of image and easy to learn. My friends and colleagues constantly tell me how good my video quality is.
- Failed the test!I loved the little camera for about 8 weeks, the time it took for the control wheel to failed. Features and images quality are excellent, but everything fails if it's not durable. The value ain't really there either if the product don't last! And the customer service is bad, with waits from 6 to 8 weeks to get it fix under warranty. BAD EXPERIENCE.
- Not to the level as reviewers sayI bought this camera two months ago with two attractive features - the tilt screen for travel selfie with family and good autofocus as reported. But selfie mode best works with 16 mm kit lens. So the choice of 18-135 was wrong. But with the soft 16-55 the quality cannot be achieved. Secondly the autofocus is good but similar quality available with Nikon and Fujifilm. In low light autofocus did not work efficiently. Fujifilm xt30 did better job. The biggest disappointment is purpled fringe. The attached photo shows the pink monkey. Even repeated change in settings did not work. But it is true that it is very sharp and crispy with 18-135 lens, especially in good light. Controls are horrible. No joystick, limited dials compared to Fujifilm at same price. This is only good for those basically takes video photographs. My decision to switch from dslr Nikon to mirrorless Sony is not satisfactory.
