- Beautiful bag!This tote backpack is one of the best bag I have own as a photographer and film maker. The attention to details is very Impressive and easy access to gears very thoughtful design approach. Highly recommended! The customer service was amazing when I needed a replacement. - Picture does not do justice!Before Totepack V2, I was hauling around Tote bag V1 everywhere. Like everyone else, I wished there was a zipper on the top. But I am a sucker for side zippers and could not part ways from Tote bag V1. Then, PD had a sale event during COVID (right?) and I wanted to support PD and decided to give Totepack V2 a try. Not sure if I would like it due to the look. But it has what I wanted, zipper on top and side zippers. To my surprise, Totepack V2 is MUCH more attractive in person. Not that PD did not do a good job of product photography, but in person, this bag is slim (VS Tote V1 which felt more bulky). I instantly fell in love because my main use is city use--office to car, car to home, home to buildings, etc. You do have to keep it clean even with the black because it gets dusty easily. BUT this bag is just more pleasing in person. I do wish the front zipper pocket is a little deeper, just a little. But from my first impression -- this bag is strange looking-- I am now sitting with it and loving with it and thankful someone has the courage to design something completely different looking. The old Tote was not friendly for back carry. This Totepack is more friendly with city walk in a big parking lot like a college campus. Probably it is not meant for 10 mile hike up the mountains, but for city use, I am completely in love. Thank you.
- must buy itIt was a gift for my boyfriend, and he loved it! All his photography equipment fits very well. Feel sure that everything will be safe and protected inside this TotePack. Very comfortable, compact and excellent investment. It has a very professional and elegant look.
- One pocket zipper is a problemFirst of, I bought this bag from Peak and had to cancel the order because it was in back order but the system didn’t show that it was back ordered. Then I got it from a Peak design authorized dealer and got it on time for a trip to Madrid. This bag is comfortable, light, and spacious. And also it is safe for my photo gear. Now, the issue that I have with it is that the front pocket zipper isn’t easy to close. The main reason being that the front part of the bag where the zipper is sitting gets a little wrinkle and you don’t have hot to stretch the bag back to be stretch so you can close the zipper. So, if you were going to carry small stuff there like your glasses, your wallet, batteries etc... it is not practical, you can’t do it with one hand, etc... so as a everyday carry... I don’t recommend it.
