- Love love love this bag!!!I have had several small bags, but this is the last one I will own. It is big enough for me to keep my days-worth of assembles shooting gear or a bunch of unassembled gear for a long vacation. I love that I can slide this bag over my luggage handle. My husband has the everyday backpack, which is also amazing, but a bit heavy for me . Since we mostly travel and shoot together, this pair of bags meets all our needs! Thanks Peak Design for Mekong our lives easier with these fantastic bags!!!
- Most versatile sling everJust got my 3L sling not to long ago, finally got a chance to use it out in the field and WOW!! So easy to use. Very versatile. Fits my z50, 16/50, and 50/250 set up, glasss, sling, 3+ batteries, and a couple other things all at the same time!! This is a 3L sling?? Peak Design’s team did an amazing job figuring out exactly what the changes were that needed to be made from the V1 slings. Defiantly will be sharing and posting everywhere. 1000% recommend along with all the rest of the peak design products.
- Perfect bagI love the sling bag. I ordered 2 for myself, a 6L, and a3L. The 6L was the perfect bag for my photography equipment, it fits my Sony a7II with the kit lens attached plus my Lensbaby twist 60 and burnside 35. The interior pocket is perfect and holds two extra batteries pulse room for a penlight and my lens cleaner. The exterior pocket is a little tight but has room for my sd card case. It is a bit of a tight fit, but everything is secure and not moving or rolling around in the bag. The quality of the bag is amazing and you can tell the design team put a lot of thought into the design. The 3L bag would be a good daily carry bag for a single lens set up, but I use it more like a man purse, for my daily carry items I don't like to leave the house without, my car keys, wallet, DJI Osmo Pocket, YoYO's...the strange things I can't live without. The bag was so nice with enough organizational features that my mom fell in love with my 3L bag so I had to order her one!
- Sling 6LFit well for Canon R5 with attached EF 24-70 with adapter, RF 70-200 (no hood and collar) and RF 35. Good bag for walking around and not big.
- The Perfect Sling - Almost the Perfect BagI have a photo backpack that I use for hiking, travel and longer trips, but I wanted something smaller I could take for short walks around the city or when I didn't need all my gear. I settled on the sling v2 and it was a great decision. It's padded well, organization is great, and all the cool features you expect from Peak Design are as advertised. The 6L was a little small for what I wanted to bring (an 8L for v3 is wishful thinking but would be perfect!) so I'm returning and getting the 10L instead. The only reason I say this bag isn't quite perfect is that I found the overall shape to be a little challenging with certain body/lens setups. It's a trapezoid shape, which means you lose a bit of space if you're carrying a wide angle lens on a DSLR body. The one I have is a biiiit wide to put in face down, but if I flip it upside down, then the body doesn't really fit and the front of the lens sticks out. Small complaint, but it was enough to make me upgrade the size. Looking forward to my 10L! And please PD consider an 8L for the next iteration of these!
