  1. I did not expect this bag to be SO GOOD
    Quality

I was not convinced at first sight of this bag. I am a wedding photographer and my closet is full of bags I tried without being convinced. As far as I am concerned, I need my bags to be minimalistic and versatile. The sling 10L v2 is the first time I feel extremely happy/excited about it. The v1 was solid but the adjustments made to the fabric, the zipper, and more generally the comfort are putting this bag as my top #1 for my work on the field. There are a few things I hope can be fixed on a possible v3 but there are minors details. It is so good that I also bought the 5L version.
  2. The perfect sling to travel with!
    Quality

I have the 3L everyday sling and it works perfect for when I travel. It packs small in my carry on and when I go on daily adventures I have been looking for a bag that is big enough to hold my notepad, phone, charger, and water without being super big and bulky. The addition of the ability to strap my jacket to the bottom with the pack straps is a great idea! The strap is comfortable and slim to the point I often forget I am wearing it. The option to wear it as a waist pack is also huge. For a just the right size daypack it has a permanent place in my travel necessities!
  3. Thought the 10L would be too big
    Quality

I originally bought a 6L off of Amazon's page and was disappointed to find my Z6 II, Nikon Z to F adapter and Sigma f2.8 70-200 were too big to fit in the 6L while they were mounted together. I went and ordered the 10L and got in time to compare it to the 6L and was taken back about the size difference. It would fit my Z6 II, Sigma f2.8 70-200 along with the Nikon Z to F mount adapter. So I was stoked for that but still kind of uncertain about the size. I finally got it customized to fit the lenses I wanted to bring and now I'm stoked about it. The way the sling fits on my back and I can barely feel that it's there. So much better than the previous sling I was using from another manufacturer after 9+ years with it. I've mentally adjusted to the size and loving it!
  4. Everyday carry
    Quality

I bought the 6L to replace my big and bulky messenger bag that I used to carry around my camera gear. I am a beginner in the hobby of photography and I just didn't want to carry around something so bulky and uncomfortable. I could not be more than happy with the purchase. Everything that I was able to fit everything in that old messenger bag in the 6L - a bag almost less than half the size!! It also made my carry lighter, maybe due to the ergonomic design, or magic, not really sure. But it made my gear so light that it is comfortable to have it as an everyday carry. Even after having a second lens the bag still weights light and comfortable. I also love how Peak Design products integrate with each other. I have the Slide Lite for my Nikon Z6. Might get the everyday backpack soon for heavier carry for my astrophotography gear.
  5. Excellent minimalist carry solution
    Quality

I had previously owned the 5L version, but it wasn't quite tall enough to accommodate my 200mm Telephoto lens. The 6L design gives me just enough extra height. So what fits? I can carry a Canon EOS RP with an attached RF24-105 lens with its bayonet hood attached in the stowed position, a RF 35mm lens, and an EF 200mm lens attached to the R to EF adapter as well as the bayonet hood in the stowed position. In the separate internal storage compartment I can carry two spare batteries, though they have to be placed in particular locations so that the sling can be zipped shut. I can't use all four internal battery storage slots and still zip the Sling closed. In the external zipper compartment I can carry two polarizing lenses and lens cleaning clothes. In order to insert and remove lenses easily from the Sling, I modified the Sling by sewing shut the two internal side elastic pockets. These pockets are too loose and the fabric gaps and catches the lens as I'm trying to insert or remove them. With this modification the Sling is much easier to use. The shoulder strap is very comfortable and I like being able to use the Sling in either the cross body mode or as a waist pack. The 6L Sling is the perfect carry device for a vacation photographer out for a day of sightseeing. With the external attachment straps on the bottom, I can even carry a monopod. For a day or more of heavy duty photography, I still need a photo gear backpack for additional lenses and tripod carry, obviously.
