- Regression over first versionI always liked my V1 Messenger and wanted to have another bag. I have to say I'm disappointed with this new version. It feels slightly smaller. Also has less storage pockets and the storage is less accessible (for example the V1 had a big zipper along the top for direct access to the main compartment). The material is also more stiff it feels the bag is working against you when trying to open and hold open the main flap. All in all a regression over the V1 which is a real shame as that was the perfect bag IMO.
- Top notch gear!This is a great message bag, the build quality is solid it will last for years and it has a great guarantee. Easily find space for my Camera and four lenses. Easily converts to carrying documents. Even used it for a overnight bag. It’s comfortable to carrying with the wide adjustable strap. Probably one of the best products PD has ever made!
- Good bag with potential to be greatI really like this bag, but falls a little short for the price point. First off, it’s sturdy and has protected my gear. Fits under a plane seat and takes up little space. It’s the perfect size for my laptop, iPad, camera and drone with a few pockets for power bank, cables and charge. However I’m ver disappointed with the mag-latch. After only a week of light use (for office work), the black coating is very scratched and looks pretty bad. For this price you can some premium bags like full gore arcteryx, which would definitely not show signs of wear after a week. Secondly, the flap ALWAYS tries to close. I guess that’s good, but it’s very frustrating when trying to put things in place. Lastly, and extra inch of adjustment on the strap would be nice not essential though. Overall I like the bag, I’m just annoyed about the wear it’s shows after only a week for $200+.....
- Dying to buy the v2 but I need a 15 inch version!!!Cannot find any other messenger bag that competes with this one In terms of both looks and functionality, was in love and was about to upgrade to the v2, only to find out they only have the 13L version. As a videographer with a 15 inch laptop for my editing needs, I am very disappointed. Would love to be able to get a 15 inch version!
