- The best lens for your cameraI spent a very long time researching this lens and feel terrible about wasting so much money on other junk lenses. This lens replaces all the lenses in your bag and is a lens you always leave connected to your camera. The zoom ring is very smooth and is a fixed zoom lens that does not rotate in and out like other zoom lenses. I also own the sigma 17-50 f2.8 zoom lens and this one blows it away with quality and speed. The lens is a very heavy and long piece of glass and the motor is very quiet. Feels great in your hands.
