Overview

Designed for active photographers, the gray CCS G3 Harness-2 from Cotton Carrier helps to evenly distribute the weight of two cameras with attached lenses. This arrangement keeps the cameras at the ready for making the most of spontaneous photographic opportunities, while also keeping hands free, equipment safer from grab-and-go theft, and reducing unwanted camera movement. Photographers will appreciate the one-size-fits-all approach, comprised of adjustable shoulder straps and a quick-release waist belt.

Two stash pockets for memory cards or batteries and a large exterior pocket provide storage for accessories. The CCS G3 Harness is constructed from Kodra synthetic canvas and anodized aluminum, and features a Twist & Lock camera mounting system and vented back panel. Included with your harness are a Wanderer Side Holster, two hubs with rubber washers, two camera hub mounting bolts, two tether straps, an Allen key, two tether split-rings, and a rain cover.

Advantages

A quick-release waist belt with speed straps, two stash pockets for carrying extra memory cards or small items on the front, a large outside pocket on the back, and a touch-fastening lens hold-down strap work together for improved hands-free usage with greater mobility.

Twist & Lock Mount

The Twist & Lock camera mount system provides stability and security. One twist locks the camera in place, making it difficult for grab-and-go theft. It also stabilizes the camera so the wearer is free to move vigorously without excessive camera movement/banging.

Tripod Compatibility

The CCS G3 Camera Harness features a Twist & Lock mounting system. Included is an aluminum flat-hub which mounts onto all cameras with a 1/4"-20 tripod mounting socket. This hub also has its own 1/4"-20 tripod mount.

Optional Items - Sold Separately

Option 1: Add the Hand Strap for those times when you need a little extra stability.

Option 2: 10-Degree Angled Hub for a DSLR with a long lens.

Option 3: Universal Tripod Adapter Plate. This plate is compatible with most tripod heads on the market. It is cut to fit directly into any Arca-Swiss style head, and designed with enough adjustment holes to slide back and forth on the bottom of your camera to leave the battery door accessible.

CCS G3 Grey Harness-2 Review
I love the harness system. It distributes the weight so there is much less strain on neck, shoulders, back and hips. When the camera is attached to the plate it is very quick to remove and place at eye level in quickly developing situations. I was tempted to only give it four stars as it does not clip into the harness as easily as I would like. Often I have to make several attempts to get the camera mounted clip into the receiver on the harness. I realize this is because of close tolerance precision and I decided I'd rather have this security over speed. Also, the more I use the system the more adept I become with aligning the clip and receiver. Thank you, Cotton Carrier Company and Cotton family, for this excellent piece of photo support gear.

Love My Cotton Carrier G3
I used to have tons of neck and shoulder pain as a wedding photographer who always carries two cameras. The straps and harnesses I was using were not distributing the weight the way my Cotton Carrier G3 does. I love how my cameras are nice and tight to my body, and don't dangle around and knock into everything. I recently hiked for 13 miles round-trip with my G3 and had zero strain or pain from thanks to my G3. It's obvious that the design was thoughtfully considerd, the construction and quality is high, and it's built with the photographer in mind. I highly recommend Cotton Carrier, and will be using my G3 as my only harness for all of my professional work moving forward. Thanks team Cotton Carrier for making such high quality and effective products with us in mind!

G3 shoulder unit
I suggest you need a xxl guys for use big guys, this will not fit low enough rides high not enough adjustable also had to fit over winner jacket. I say g2 hv same problem

Exactly what I was looking for
The basic vest is absolutely a fantastic 5 stars. Exactly what I want & need. I did get the 2-camera version, with a 2nd holder that sort of fits on the side. That second part is a little disappointing. I should work, but the method of putting it on is a bit awkward. However, it looks like it would fit on a belt along with handing from the vest. (Unfortunately, I can't wear belts.) Also, the unit could use a method to tether the camera to something on the harness. (Using a camera in awkward places is kind of normal. I will need to continue to use the standard strap around the neck just for safety when shooting.)

However, this does look like a great addition to help with neck & back issues on back-country hikes for shots. Great rapid-access for sudden wildlife opportunities.

Cotton Carrier G3 Camera Harness system for two camera's
I am a Volunteer for fire services woodlands and rural, and out on foot patrol three time a week west of town, the G3 Camera Harness for two camera's is a excellent and exactly what I need for carrying my equipment in and out of the bush and forest area's.
