Overview

Prime normal-length lens is designed for APS-C-format FUJIFILM X-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 53mm equivalent focal length.
Bright f/2 maximum aperture benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also offers greater control over depth of field.
Two aspherical elements limit distortion and spherical aberration in order to realize greater sharpness and accurate rendering.
Super EBC coating has been applied to individual elements to reduce lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
Stepping motor, along with an internal focusing design, affords fast and quiet autofocus performance that benefits both stills and video applications.
Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.

Solid build quality, quiet quick auto focus smooth manual focus produces exceptional images

Great image out of this small affordable lens. This is my first lens for the fuji system and am very pleased after switching from Nikon.

Great lens. Was surprised to find it in store. I was going to purchase online.

Great compact all around images.
I wanted a small unobtrusive lens with a standard field of view and this fits the bill. Though it's only f/2 this allows for a smaller profile and with a little forethought, I'm still able to get great separation of my subject from the background. It's not the lens for creamy bokeh, but the speed of focus is more what I was looking for.

Small but packs a punch!
Really nice small lens - great in low light, good weather sealing. Just a good one to have around. Definitely worth the price.
