- SmartI haven't been happy with most of the straps of tried for my DSLR cameras. But I found a review on a website that touted the features of this strap and decided to look into it more. The demonstration video convinced me and I ordered 2. Wow, are they ever nice. I've used them in all 3 configurations and they all work well. On the shoulder and across the chest works best for me. Most comfortable and the strap is slick enough to be able to pull the camera into position very quickly and with little effort. I highly recommend this strap.
- So good, I bought two!Ok, so a while back I bought a Nikon D750. The original strap was ok, but I didn't like yelling at the world in big yellow letters HEY! LOOK AT ME - I OWN AN EXPENSIVE CAMERA, IT'S A NIKON - ARE YOU JEALOUS??? WOULD YOU LIKE TO STEAL IT? I needed something quieter and more functional. I trolled around and found a video starring this weird bearded guy from a company called Peak Design. He was demonstrating something called Slide. I watched. I liked his goofy nature and self-effacing style. I liked the guy, and that meant I had to like the company. I bought one - a Slide that is, not a company. Who wants that stress? The Slide is brilliant. Believe the advertising, it's a truly beautiful piece of design and engineering. Beautiful material, beautiful fittings. The Slide makes carrying around a 5kg camera and 500mm lens rig a breeze, and when you need to stick the viewfinder to your face in a hurry it’s all so easy, just reach back, grab the grip, and slide the camera up. When you don’t want the gear bashing you in the hip as you walk in search of your latest photographic masterpiece you just shorten the strap and slide the rig into the small of your back. Having a non-slip shoulder pad is a godsend! So much thought went into this strap. Oh yeah, the heading says I bought two. Well, that’s true. When I bought my Nikon D850 the first thing I did was order another Slide. Two cameras, two Slides. Perfect. Go on, buy one. You know you want to!
- Sling Camera StrapHad this camera strap for several years. Love the ease, construction and peace of mind knowing that it is always performing the way I want a camera strap to work and protect my camera investment. Had an issue recently where an old design (rubber pad) was breaking down in heat. Peak Design replaced my strap; no questions asked! Thank you Peak Design...you have a customer for life.
- Sling StrapI love my sling strap, anchors, etc. This is my second one. I use my older one on another camera I have. I can't say enough about these straps and the whole setup. I've had my black one for several years now and it hardly shows any wear. I purchased a grey one this time. They will last forever. Very easy to adjust in a second. Thank you for making such good products. I must say your staff is also awesome. Following up and aiming to please.
- Sling StrapAs a working professional photography one thing i always hated was camera straps. I have tried so many straps, one thing i hated was how my camera would always either swings around or spins and starts to hit things will doing weddings or events. I purchased the Peak Design Sling Strap and used it at an event, what i loved about the strap is the comfort and I absolutely love how the peak design strap feels really secure my camera doesn't move or swing around so no more hitting on things.
