- Wow ... Only strap I now ownI love the sling strap ... In fact I own two of them. I use one for the camera and the second for the capture lens. As a weekend photographer with numerous back and neck related injuries, I used to be limited by my pain but since using peak designs two slide straps, I am now only limited by my imagination. In fact several friends have also made the purchase and are thanking me for referring them. Thank you Peak Design ... Your products are this photographer's dream come true!
- Sturdy straps, clever system; need better metal ringsRecently used my new Slide strap on an 8 mile hike. It did the job well when the xamera was out. My shoulder wasn't too tired afterwards. I'd recommend vetter metal rings where the strap attaches to the camera as well as a plastic fingernail to aid in attaching. Otherwise I like the system.
- WAY BETTER THAN THE STRAPS THAT COMES WITH THE CAMERASI purchased the Slide and used a couple of times now. It fits better in the camera than the standard straps than comes with them. It is way easier to remove from the camera and there are several positions one can use the camera, not only the standard one provided by the standard straps - this is very helpful for big cameras with big lenses.
- Worth the money!I was a little skeptical of buying a camera strap for $65, but it has definitely proved to be worth it. I've had it for two months now and taken it on longer grueling hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park and around cities just casually taking photos. In both scenarios, the strap is super comfortable. I love the ability to quickly access the camera for photos and adjust the length of the strap depending on the situation. It's very easy to detach from the camera altogether for tripod use or just not wanting a dangling strap while walking around. I use a Canon Mark III and it's a dream with the weight of my camera. I ordered the Ash color and it looks more stylish than most straps I have seen before. Highly recommended!
- Slide is sweet!I bought the slide and it has been a great purchase. It is made of very high quality materials and definitely feels like it is designed to last. The Slide definitely makes you feel like you know what you are doing. It is not too big, but does not feel like it is going to break. Besides the product, PD customer support is awesome and will help with anything that you could need. I would definitely recommend this product for an upgrade that will last through it all.
