- Just what kind I neededThis is my first lens and it’s perfect for what I need. I bought a new camera to take photos of my children. This worked out perfect.

- 9.9/10Fantastic lens. The 2.8 aperture makes pics nice and bright, and provides that nice bokeh, and it somewhat has macro ability, but I do not think it is as good as advertised (i maybe misread 2.9x magnification as 1:2.9 magnification, but the 2.9x also does not seem to be the focal zoom, as that is 2.68) but either way it still takes beautiful pictures. This lens is also less than half the price as the sony brand 24-70 f/2.8 making it a great deal If i had to nitpick, its doesnt have any extra bells or whistles like a focus lock or af/mf toggle, its just a bare lens. It also doesnt have stabilization, so keep that in mind if you are trying to put it on a cropped sensor other than the a6500.

- Worthy of its praisePerfect option for covering most of the focal lengths that I would need in doors. While it does not have image stabilization, the cameras that it is usually used with do so I've not encountered issues there. Love this for whenever I need to do photo/video around the house or when visiting friends and family! Sharpness, contrast, weight and auto-focus speed are all fantastic, there's no reason (besides being wider at the low end) to purchase the Sony branded equivalent over this one.
