- Great all in one lensI’ve been eyeing this lens for over a year and finally got it. I’m very happy with the purchase. It solves the problem of switching between lens, and the images are clear. At the full zoom, you may want to think about a tripod.
- Best Single Lens to Travel WithI have been working on reducing the amount of equipment I carry for travel. I use Canon and have for years. I own their 18-200 and it works well. I have experimented with the Tamron 18-300 and it worked well but has focusing issues in low light. When this lens came out all of the sample images Tamron posted were shot with the Canon 80D. I purchased one immediately from Best Buy and it is fantastic. I used it to photograph the recent Solar Eclipse and it worked perfectly. So far it has performed perfectly in all lighting conditions and I am extremely pleased with it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
