- Excellent LensI have no experience with the Nikon 14-24 so I cannot compare. With that said, I am extremely impressed with this lens. Great image quality and a great focal length when used properly in my opinion.
- Awesome Lens at a good priceSolid wide angle lens with a fast constant f2.8 aperture. Build quality is excellent but it is big and heavy.
- AMAZINGLens is amazing, Clear, Sharp, one of the best out there... Shot many Wide lenses before this takes the cake! better than nikons... especially for the money... Tamron is getting better and better every time they come out with a new lens! i own the 24-70, and the 70-200 all outstanding!
- This is a great lens!!!I bought this lens for landscapes and live theater (low light) situations. For my first theater shoot (very low light), it performed amazingly well. Very crisp images. Two published in local papers. A great lens!!!
