- Excellent BackpackI spent a great deal of time examining camera backpacks from the various and sundry suppliers. I ended up purchasing units from Lowepro and Think Tank for evaluation. Unfortunately, I found them wanting in various ways. I stumbled across the Tamrac Anvil 15 and figured I had nothing to lose, so I ordered it and started the evaluation. From the beginning I felt that I had finally found the pack for me. It is spacious, has a lot of compartments to organize all of the various items that end up in a camera backpack.
- Excellent, all-around camera bag.I have been using the Anvil for about 4 months now and it has been an excellent, all-around day hike and travel camera bag. Ample room for all my lenses and accessories, great customization with the removable inner sections and plenty of room in the front pockets to store some snacks/more accessories etc. I also really love the strap system. I do a lot of long day hikes out to locations to shoot sunset or sunrise and it has always been comfortable. Very adjustable, so I can definitely see it fitting just about anyone.
- The Perfect Travel Camera bagI have had this bag for about 4 months now and I didn't want to write a review until I tested it out in every environment possible. I have traveled with it quite extensively and I've taken it on about 15 hikes. I love the bag because of the capacity and the ability to put my laptop and ipad and other non-camera gear in it. For my Manfrotto tripod, I would rather a side pouch for it but overall it's well worth the buy.

- Great bag for getting to gigs on a bikeThe bag is roomy enough, and carries weight well enough, that I can travel to gigs via bike. Importantly, there are a ton of ways to strap stuff to the outside of the bag. And even more important, the laptop slot is on the outside of the bag, and not on the inside against my back. This makes it possible to lean forward (like when riding a bike) without risk of crushing or bending my laptop. Only downside is the zippers feel a little sticky/cheap. But that's so minor it's still worth five starts to me.
