Overview

The dark green CT5 Pilot Series Tripod with CT04 Fluid Head from Sirui offers features for the outdoor photographer or wildlife viewer who needs more versatility from their setup and the ability to use creative angles on any terrain. Its compact design makes it easy to carry by folding down to 20.2” while still being able to reach a maximum height of 58.4”, and its aluminum construction supports up to 6.6 lb.

Legs
The four-section legs can be independently adjusted via carbon fiber twist locks so that you can find the desired length for each one, while the semi-automatic flip locks offer three angles for each leg in case you find yourself on uneven ground. Simply twist the rubber feet to extend metal spikes, adding further stability when needed.
 
Center Column
The center column's triangular shape allows for an even more compact and portable profile for the tripod when folded down. The column can also be inverted to allow for low- or high-angle shooting, while still maintaining its same level of adjustability. A ballast hook provides the option for greater stability, and the column locking knob can be rotated a full 360° to ensure it is secured in place. An additional short center column is included to further increase your access to low angle or wide leg shooting.
 
Base
The base features an adaptive threaded screw that can switch between 3/8"-16 or ¼"-20 with a simple press and turn, making it easier to fit heads or cameras of your choice and faster to switch between them. A built-in ¼"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory port accomodates a wide range of additional pieces of equipment.
 
Fluid Head
The fluid head features a freely adjustable handle, index marks around the base, and a bubble level for precise control and adjustment. It can rotate a full 360° with a tilting range of +90 to -60°. A separate tilt lock, plate movement lock, panorama base lock, safety lock, and handle lock ensure your equipment stays in place for improved shooting and peace of mind. The quick release plate includes ¼"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws, a safety pin, and rubber pads for added security.
