All I Need
I have this lens and it’s great if you need the reach. I use it on an A7ii. The f/6.3 is a little slow on the long end and makes it tough for bird shooting without bright sun but still a decent lens. I also loved the weight of it being lighter than other lens in this focal length, that was the selling point for me. I am considering selling it because I don’t use it as often as my other lenses, but if you need a cheap telephoto, this one gets the job done. If I were to buy another telephoto I would honestly buy something with more reach, up to 500 or 600 on the long end but if 300 is all you need this lens is a good option to consider especially weighing quality / price.

Great telephoto lens for the price.
Reasonably great lens especially for the price that your getting it. Telephoto range was perfect for the shot that I'm trying to achieve. For me this is the best telephoto lens you can try before ordering the lenses that are quite very different in price range.
