- great bag, lots of spacenot only it looks great, the materials are very nice and there are pockets and separators everywhere!
- The best just got betterv1 was already an excellent backpack, but v2 just improves on the little annoyances of the original. The straps are way more comfortable, and the improved zips makes side access even faster. I also love the magnets on the strap, and how cleanly they stow when on a luggage. The laptop compartment is also a huge improvement, the additional dividers on the pockets are a great help in organizing flash drives, and other small things. I also noticed that the black fabric on v2 is less prone to getting dirty than v1. The only thing I miss from v1 is the color of the interior, I loved the mustard color that contrasted well with black. Overall, this backpack is simply the best in its class.
- First Time PD OwnerAfter agonizing over which size of bag, I chose the 20L. My initial assessment is that it will hold the gear I am most interested in transporting. My challenge is to get it organized so that I use the space efficiently. As an everyday backpack I have found a good solution to what I carry. My biggest complaint is that the pocket for my Surface Pro is really tight and sliding the laptop in and out is clumsy. I have thought through the "what to carry" of my camera gear but am still pondering the how to put it into the backpack for optimum access and transport. I have watched a couple of PD's videos but have not attempted to replicate anyone's approach. The backpack is sturdy, gives me a sense of durability but I haven't tested the comfort of a long walk or hike on a camera shoot. 4.5 stars is my current assessment.
- Great pack, mehhh strapsThe backpack itself is incredible. The build quality, all of the neat features are really useful, the pockets and layout are really intuitive. I can say that the straps are just not beefy enough for the pack. They're not terrible, just not as good as they should be.
- Best backback ever!I bought it for my son's 18th birthday, I own a messenger bag from the first Peak Design KS and it still perfect. So I was awed in all the new features of the backpack V2. But I feel there were no compromises if I compared it to my bag... Excellent!!!
