  1. its a new leap
    Quality

Probably I will be the first one who own the everyday backpack V2 WHO lives in China. after PD release V2 i immediately contact my friend in CA, ask her to bring me back a midnight 30L. i own almost every products of PD, huge fan. everytime see PD release new product is like to see a new apple event. PD really consider what people need and breaking routines, recreate things. what i think the concept of bag is flexible loaded and easy to take it out. PD is doing it very well. i love my new V2, is less shaped more round. side pockets are better category. new color is more iconic and unique. LOVE to touch it everytime is like play a new iphone. now im waiiting for the PD tripod and messenger V2, hope it is great as they used to be.
  2. I have 2 of these for a reason!
    Quality

These is the second bag I have the other one is the 20L for need the extra space for longer trips. It’s built very well like the first on. The up grades from Version one are nice but I would not upgrade just for them. Things I like are how sleek these bags are, quality and the ability to adjust from a book bag to a camera bag!
  3. Great for getting through security quickly.
    Quality

This is my go to theme park bag, and 3 out of 4 times I get complements from the guard who examines the bag. They're so impressed when I open both sides and they only need to take a quick glance and let me through. So if you want to get through the security line fast this is the perfect bag for you.
  4. Great versatility - a different thought process.
    Quality

I bought this bag based on online reviews of the V1 bag. This bag has met my expectations, albeit with a change in expectations and the resultant layout. I'm very used to bags that store the items horizontally when the bag is laid on its' back. This "vertical" concept for lack of a better term, was at first a bit of a disappointment until I began to determine just how and what I was going to store in the different locations. Suffice to say that with a change in my thought process and the help of several smaller cases to hold small items, I was able to put a lot more into this bag than I have in any other I've used before. The only real issue is that the straps are a bit thinner than you'd expect in a bag that is able to hold this much gear. Also, the placement of a PD Capture clip on the strap is not all that intuitive, i.e. the location placement based on strap width is not ideal. With that said, I've enjoyed the bag nonetheless. It does hold a whole lot of stuff!
  5. Not quite as good as the V1
    Quality

First off, this is a great bag, don't get me wrong. I just think it's not worth the upgrade from a V1. I have owned PD products for years, have many of their bags, and have had a V1 for years, and so ordered the v2 on release day, as I was eager to compare them. It all comes down to materials for me. The materials high quality, but to me they're not as pleasing and don't feel as good or durable. The side access is easier to open and the zipper is improved for sure, but the side panels don't open almost 180° like V1. The side panel zippered pockets' storage areas were more varied on V1, meaning more storage options. The shoulder straps are more comfortable, but the material on them feels softer/less durable, and the straps are less attractive. There are a few other subjective preferences, but I won't drag on. This is still a great bag overall. If the V1 was a 5/5 to me, this is a 4.5/5.
